RESOLUTION NO. 3247
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING FINAL
PARCEL MAP NO. 15115 LOCATED WITHIN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, Final Parcel Map No. 15115 (hereinafter
"Project ") for property situated within the City of E1 Segundo,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, is now presented
to the City Council of the said City for its approval; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2032, a copy of which is
attached hereto and incorporated by reference, the Planning
Commission of the City of El Segundo did give tentative approval
to the said Parcel Map, with conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered an Environ-
mental Impact Report prepared in accordance with the California
Environmental Quality Act State Guidelines, and the City of El
Segundo Guidelines for the Implementation of the California En-
vironmental Quality Act; and
WHEREAS, the Environmental Impact Report identified
significant adverse impacts which require the imposition of miti-
gation measures mitigating the adverse environmental impacts
created by the project; and
WHEREAS, all of the conditions imposed by the Planning
Commission in the attached Resolution No. 2032 are conditions
which mitigate adverse environmental impacts; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the property sought to be sub-
divided by this Parcel Map (Chevron, USA, Inc.) and Overton,
Moore and Associates (OMA) a potential purchaser of a portion
of the property which is the subject of the Parcel Map, have
sought to enter into certain agreements with the City which pro-
vide for the implementation of the mitigation measures required
by the Environmental Impact Report and Resolution No. 2032,
attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, there is now presented to the City Council for
its approval, Final Parcel Map No. 15115;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL
SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of El Segundo,
California, hereby finds the Environmental Impact Report to be
complete, accurate and adequate, and certifies the Environmental
Impact Report as final.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, hereby finds that the said Environmental Impact Report
contains information which requires that the final approval of
Parcel Map No. 15115 must be conditioned upon certain mitigation
measures all as contained in Planning Commission Resolution No.
2032, attached hereto.
SECTION 3. The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, hereby finds and declares that upon the execution of
the following agreements with the owner of the property (Chevron,
USA, Inc.):
1. Agreement Affecting Real Property by and
betweer the City of El Segundo and Chevron,
USA, I c.,
2. Supple—' Agreement by and between
the Ci y of E1 Segundo and Chevron, USA,
Inc.,
changes or alterations have been required in and incorporated into
the project which mitigate and avoid the significant environ-
mental effects of the project as identified in the Final Environ-
mental Impact Report. The statement of facts supporting this
finding consists of incorporating herein by reference the Parcel
Map No. 15115, the Environmental Impact Report, and the findings
and conclusions of the Planning Commission Resolution No. 2032.
In substance, as outlined in the aforesaid documents, each en-
vironmental impact identified therein has been mitigated by the
terms and conditions of the aforementioned agreements.
SECTION 4. The City Council of the City of El Segundo,
California, hereby approves Final Parcel Map No. 15115 on the
condition that the following agreements:

1. Agreement Affecting Real Property by and
between the City of El Segundo and Chevron,
USA, Inc.,
Is 2. Supplemental Agreement by and between the
City of El Segundo and Chevron, USA, Inc.,
be entered into by the parties thereto and that the Agreement
Affecting Real Property by and between the City of El Segundo
and Chevron, USA, Inc. be recorded simultaneously with Parcel
Map No. 15115, and on the condition that no building permit be
issued for the site unless and until the said map is recorded and
unless and until all the terms of the agreements which are required
to be accomplished prior to the issuance of a building permit are
accomplished.
SECTION 5. The City Council of the City of El Segundo
further approves each of the following agreements and authorizes
the Mayor to sign on behalf of the City and the City Clerk to
attest:
1. Agreement Affecting Real Property by and
between the City of E1 Segundo and Chevron,
USA, Inc.,
2. Supplemental Agreement by and between the
City of El Segundo and Chevron, USA, Inc.,
3. Agreement for Subdivision Improvements by
and between the City of E1 Segundo and
Overton, Moore and Associates,
4. Agreement and Escrow Instructions by and
between the City of El Segundo and Overton,
Moore and Associates.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book
of original resolutions of said city; and shall make a minute of
the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings
of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of
