CC RESOLUTION 3151• RESOLUTION NO. 3151 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTIONS 1A5.0101 1A5.020, 1A5.030, 1A5.055 AND 1A5.160 OF: AND ADDING SECTIONS 1A5.023, 1A5.025, 1A5.027 AND 1A5.028 TO CHAPTER 1A5 (POLICE SAFETY SERVICE SERIES) OF TITLE lA OF THE EL SEGUNDO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Sections 1A5.010, 1A5.020, 1A5.030, 1A5.055 and 1A5.160 of Chapter 1A5 of Title lA of the E1 Segundo Adminis- trative Code adopted by Resolution No. 2620, as amended, are amended to read as follows: SECTION 1A5.010 BASIC SALARY SCHEDULE - -SWORN PERSONNEL - PERS 2% AT 50. SECTION 1A5.020 EDUCATIONAL INCENTIVE PAY SALARY SCHEDULES - -PERS 2% AT 50. (A) Commencing June 12, 1982, all sworn personnel of the police service enumerated in this Chapter to whom the Educational Incentive Pay Program is applicable who were employed before February 6, 1982 and who have obtained a P.O.S.T. Intermediate Certificate shall receive for his or her services, compensation at the grade and step to which they are entitled by classification and lenght of service, in accordance with the following salary schedule: • P.O.S.T. FIELD TRAINING OFFICER PAY. Effective June 12, 1982, Police Officers who are assigned by the Police Chief as Field Training Officers to train probationary Police Officers shall, while functioning in the capacity of a Field officer, be paid the sum of $95.00 per month above the range and step of the Police Officer classification to which they are entitled by length of service and performance; provided, however, that when such assignment continues during only part of a pay period, the special allowance provided by this section shall be prorated. SECTION 1A5.160 HOLIDAYS -- PAYMENT IN LIEU. Police Department personnel who are regularly required to work on holidays, notwithstanding any provision herein to the contrary, shall be paid for ninety -six hours in lieu of holidays once a year on or about the 10th day of December. Employees who terminate shall be paid holiday pay on a pro rata basis. SECTION 2. Sections 1A5.023, 1A5.025, 1A5.027 and 1A5.028 are added to Chapter 1A5 of Title lA of the E1 Segundo Administrative Code to read as follows: SECTION 1A5.023 BASIC SALARY SCHEDULE- -SWORN PERSONNEL - PERS 2% AT 55. All Resolutions and orders of the City Council heretofore passed and adopted with reference to the same, or any of the matters and subjects hereinabove set forth or referred to, are hereby rescinded insofar as the same conflict with the provisions hereof. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage 0 and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original resolutions of said City; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the pro- ceedings of the City Council of said city, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
