RESOLUTION NO, 3037
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1980--1981,
WHEREAS, the voters of California on November 6, 1979
added Article XIII B to the State Constitution placing various
limitations on the appropriations of the state and local govern-
ments; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII B provides that the appropria-
tions limit for the fiscal year 1980 -1981 is calculated by adjust-
ing the bass year appropriations of fiscal year 1978 -1979 for
changes in the cost of living and population; and
WHEREAS, the information necessary for making these
adjustments is attached in Exhibits A, B, and C; and
WHEREAS, the City of El Segundo has complied with all
the provisions of Article XIII B in determining the appropria-
tions limit for fiscal year 1980 -1981;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EL SEGUNDO DOES RESOLVE that for the City of El Segundo the
appropriations subject to limitation in the fiscal year 1980-
1981 shall be $15,355,305,
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of Decem-
ber , 19801

�) • Report prepared in 1980 by Admin, Analyst Fred Weiner indicates
construction- related Fire Department budgeted Costs for 1979 -80
are 581,403. This represents 3.8% of the Fire Department budget
(see attached worksheet from.the report)..
