CC RESOLUTION 2972... .' r") 6�) l.Z f, U.] 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2972 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING VOTING PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES, APPOINTING PRECINCT BOARD MEMBERS AND FIXING COMPENSATION FOR THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, APRIL 8, 1980, HERETOFORE CALLED BY RESOLUTIONS NOS. 2959, 2963 and 2965 OF THE CITY COUNCIL. • WHEREAS, a general municipal election to be held on Tuesday, April 8, 1980 has been heretofore called by Resolutions Nos. 2959, 2963 and 2965, adopted on January 2, January 15 and January 21, 1980, respectively; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding said regular general municipal election, there shall be and are hereby estab- lished seven voting precincts consisting of consolidations of the regular election precincts in the City of El Segundo estab- lished for the holding of state and county elections, as said regular election precincts exist on the date of adoption of this resolution. That the polling places for the respective precincts shall be the places hereinafter designated; and that the persons hereinafter named, being competent and qualified electors and residents of said City are hereby appointed precinct board members for their respective voting precincts and they shall hold said election and make return thereof in the manner provided by law. That the compensation of the persons here- inbefore named as precinct board members is hereby fixed at the sum of thirty dollars for each Inspector and twenty -five dollars for each Judge and Clerk for said election. The rental for each of such polling places, where a charge is made, shall be the sum of thirty dollars for said election. When required, the compensation of the Custodian of a building shall be twenty -five dollars for said election. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original resolutions of said city; and shall make a • minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said city, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
