RESOLUTION NO. 2885
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE LAND -USE ELEMENT AND THE LAND -USE ELE-
MENT MAP.
WHEREAS, on September 2, 1975, the City Council of the
City of El Segundo, after a public hearing duly and regularly held,,
adopted Resolution No. 2650, entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING
THE LAND -USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN; and
WHEREAS, on October 18, 1977, the City Council of the
City of E1 Segundo, after a public hearing duly and regularly held,
adopted Resolution No. 2812, entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, APROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE LAND -USE ELEMENT AND THE LAND -USE ELE-
MENT MAP.; and
-WHEREAS, on October 26, 1978, the Planning Commission of
the City of El Segundo, after a public hearing duly and regularly
held, adopted Resolution No. 973, entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE LAND. -USE ELEMENT AND LAND -USE
MAP OF THE GENERAL PLAN,; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of El Segundo did,
pursuant to law, hold a duly advertised public hearing on such
matter in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, 350 Main Street, in
the City of El Segundo, on January 16, 1979; and
Whereas, an opportunity was given to all persons to pre-
sent documentary evidence or testimony both for and against approv-
ing an amendment to the Land -Use Element and the Land -Use Element
Map of the General Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL
SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Land -Use Element of the General Plan of
• the City of El Segundo as evidenced by "Final Draft Land-Use Ele-
ment of the General Plan for the City of El Segundo", dated May 22,
1975, and the "Land-Use Element Map" attached thereto, on file in
the office of the City Clerk, as amended by Resolution 2812, be and
the same is hereby amended by changing the land use of certain areas
as follows:
Lots 1 through 14, inclusive, of Block 65, El
Segundo Sheet No. 7, as recorded in Map Book
22, Pages 54 and 55, in the Office of the
County Recorder, Los Angeles County, State of
California;
from m-1 (Light manufacturing) to R-3 (Multiple Family Resi-
dential) .
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of
original resolutions of said city; and shall make a minute-of the
passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of
the City Council of said city, in the minutes of the meeting at
which the same is passed and adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this _16th day of
