RESOLUTION NO. 2850
.A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE VACA-
TION OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF BUNGALOW DRIVE
AND THE EAST -WEST ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 31 AND 32,
WITHIN SAID CITY AS CONTEMPLATED BY RESOLU-
'TION OF INTENTION NO. 2843 .
The City Council of the City of El Segundo, California,
pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941,"
being Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California, does hereby resolve, declare, find,
determine and order as follows:
SECTION 1. Said Citv Crnmt,;
and regularly called, noticed and held, finds and determines from
all the evidence submitted, that that certain portion of Bungalow
Drive and the East -West Alleys in Blocks 31 and 32 within said
city described in Resolution of Intention No. 2843 of said Coun-
cil adopted on the 4th day of April, 1978, is unnecessary for
present or prospective public street purposes.
SECTION 2. That the public interest and convenience
require, and it is hereby ordered, that the following portions
of the following public streets within the city, to wit:
All that portion of Bungalow Drive (40.00 feet wide)
as shown on Sheet 1, El Segundo, filed in Map Book 18,
Page 69, in the office of the County Recorder, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, lying between the
southerly line of Grand Avenue (60.00 feet wide) and
the northerly line of Franklin Avenue (40.00 feet wide)
as shown on said Sheet 1, AND all of the East -West alleys
(15.00 feet wide) in Blocks 31 and 32 lying between the
easterly line of Maryland Street (50.00 feet wide) and
the westerly line of Center Street (60.00 feet wide)
as shown on said Sheet 1; EXCEPT the westerly 5.00 feet
of said Bungalow Drive (40.00 feet wide) lying between
the north line of Franklin Avenue (40.00 feet wide) and
the easterly prolongation of the south line of Lot 14
in Block 31, for pedestrian (foot) ingress and egress
purposes only;
be, and the same, is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned for
public street purposes, all as contemplated by Resolution of
Intention No. 2843 of the City Council of the City of El Segundo,
• California, adopted on the 4th day of April, 1978.
Reference is hereby made to said Resolution of Intention
No. 2843 and to the map or plan entitled, "PORTION OF BUNGALOW
DRIVE AND THE EAST -WEST ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 31 AND 32, SOUTH OF GRAND
AVENUE PROPOSED TO BE VACATED BY RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2843 "
referred to therein, both of which are on file and open to public
. inspection in the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall of said
City, and both of which, by this reference, are incorporated herein
and made a part hereof for further particulars.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book
of original resolutions of said city; and shall make a minute of
the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings
of the City Council of said city, in the minutes of the meeting at
which the same is passed and adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of

is five; that the foregoing Resolution, being Resolution No. 2850
was duly passed and adopted by the said City Council, approved
and signed by the Mayor of said City, and attested by the City
Clerk of said City, all at a regular meeting of the said Council
held on the 2nd. day of May 1978
and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:

and Mayor Balmer
