CC RESOLUTION 28344,1 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2834 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS IN- TENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF BUNGALOW DRIVE AND THE EAST -WEST ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 31 AND 32, WITHIN SAID CITY. The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941," being Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, does hereby resolve, declare, determine and order as follows: SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, to order the vacation and abandonment of certain portions of Franklin Avenue and Illinois Street, within said City, which are more particularly described as follows: All that portion of Bungalow Drive (40.00 feet wide) as shown on Sheet 1, El Segundo, filed in Map Book 18, Page 69, in the office of the County Recorder,, County of Los Ange- les, State of California, lying between the southerly line of Grand Avenue (60.00 feet wide) and the northerly line of Franklin Ave- nue (40.00 feet wide) as shown on said Sheet 1, AND all of the East -West alleys (15.00 feet wide) in Blocks 31 and 32 lying between the easterly line of Maryland Street (50.00 feet wide) and the westerly line of Center Street (60.00 feet wide) as shown on said Sheet 1. 'For further particulars as to the proposed vacation of said portions of Franklin Avenue and Illinois Street, reference is hereby made to map, entiled "PORTION OF BUNGALOW DRIVE AND THE EAST -WEST ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 31 AND 32 SOUTH OF GRAND AVENUE PROPOSED TO BE VACATED BY RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2834 ," on file and open to public inspection in the office of the City Clerk of the City of El Segundo, California, in the City Hall of said City. '0 SECTION 2. That the hour of 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 21, 1978, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, 350 Main Street, in said city, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested in or ob- jecting to the proposed vacation of said portions of said public streets may appear before said City Council and be heard and offer testimony and submit evidence in relation thereto. SECTION 3. That the Superintendent of Streets of the City of El Segundo, California, be and he is hereby directed to cause "NOTICE OF STREET VACATION AND OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON," to be posted as required by the said Street Vacation Act of 1941, being Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and the City Council of said city hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of said Act. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the El Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in said city and hereby designated for that purpose by the said City Council.
