RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 2664
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS IN -
TENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF WASHINGTON
STREET WITHIN SAID CITY.
The City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, pursuant
to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941, " being Part 3 of Divi-
sion 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, does here-
by resolve, declare, determine and order as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City
of El Segundo, California, to order the vacation and abandonment of a certain
portion of Washington Street within said City, which is more particularly des -
cribed as follows:
The westerly 2 5 feet of Lots 2 94 and 2 9 5 and the westerly
25 feet of the southerly 71. 04 feet of Lot 293, all in Block
123, Sheet 8, El Segundo, as filed in Map Book 22, Pages
106 and 107, in the office of the County Recorder, Los
Angeles County, State of California.
For further particulars as to the proposed vacation of said portion
of Washington Street, reference is hereby made to map entitled, "PORTION OF
WASHINGTON STREET PROPOSED TO BE VACATED BY RESOLUTION OF IN-
TENTION NO. 2664 , it on file and open to public inspection in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of El Segundo, California, in the City Hall of said city.
SECTION 2. That the hour of 7 :00 p.m., on Tuesday, December 2,
1975, in the, Council Chamber in the City Hall, 350 Main Street, in said city, be
and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any and all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation of said portion of
said public street may appear before said City Council and be heard and offer
testimony and submit evidence in relation thereto.
0 SECTION 3. That the Superintendent of Streets of the City of El
Segundo, California, be and he is hereby directed to cause "NOTICE OF STREET
VACATION AND OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, " to be posted as required by
the said Street Vacation Act of 1941, being Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California; and the City Council of said city hereby

elects to proceed under the provisions of said Act.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this resolution, and shall cause the same to be published, once in
the El Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, published
and circulated in said city and hereby designated for that purpose by the said
City C ouncia.
