WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors did on June 10,, 197 5., duly adopt Resolution declaring that that portion of real property, to be known as the El Segundo Pedestrian -Bike Trail, and located between El Segundo Boulevard crid Glasgow Place, as a part of the System of Highways of the County of Los lAngeles, all as provided in. Sections 1700 to 1704 inclusive of the' Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, said Board of Supervisors by said Resolution requeste d this Council 'to give its consent to acquire rights of way, construct improvements and perform maintenance within said portion in the City of El Segundo des- cribed above; rand WHEREAS, a report of the impact of the proposed improvements on the environment has now been completed® t,40 /, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of El Segundo does resolve as follows: SECTION 1 « Consent to Inclusion in County Highways System. This City Council does hereby consent to the establishment of that portion of real property, to be known as the El Segundo, Pedestrian -Bike Trail, and located between El Segundo Boulevard and Glasgow Place within the City of El Segundo, Cs a part of the system of Highways of the County of Los Angeles as provided in e�.to?s d to % inclusive of the Streets aria Highways Code of the State of California Said consent is for the purpose of acquiring rights of way, con- improvements and performing maaintenance as may be necessary by the County of Los Angeles. SECTION 2. Approval of Negative Declaration. This City Council does hereby approve the Negative Declaration dated May 19, 1975. SECTION 3. Effect on Environment. This City Council does hereby find that: The project has no significant effect on the environment. SECTION 4. Finding of a Minor Nature. This City Council does hereby find that pursuant to Government Code, Section 65402 (b), the afore- said improvement is for street improvements of a minor nature and that, there- fore, the provisions of said Section requiring the submission to and report upon said project by the City Planning Agency do not apply. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the some in the book of original resolutions of said City; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the some is passed and adopted.
