RESOLUTION NO. 2577
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AND ADOPTING "STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR
PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION, 1973 EDITION, "
AND THE 1974 SUPPLEMENT THERETO.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That a copy of "Standard Specifications for Pub-
lic Works Construction, 1973 Edition, " together with the 1974 Supplement
thereto, written and promulgated by Southern California Chapter American
Public Works Association and Southern California District Associated
General Contractors of California Joint Cooperative Committee, is hereby
ordered placed on file in the office of the City Clerk, open to public
inspection, and that said copy, so on file, is hereby approved and adopted
as the standard specifications covering all future public works construction
within the City of E1 Segundo.
SECTION 2. That whenever in said standard specifications
approved and adopted pursuant to Section 1 of this resolution, the following
terms are used, they shall be understood to mean:
(1) AGENCY - the City of E1 Segundo, California;
(2) BOARD - the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo,
California; and
(3) ENGINEER - the City Engineer of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, acting either directly or indirectly or through properly authorized
agents, such agents acting within the scope of the particular duties entrusted
to them.

SECTION 3. That Resolution No. 2495 adopted August 7, 1973,
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AND ADOPTING 'STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR
PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION, 1973 EDITION. "',
is hereby rescinded.

SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original
resolutions of said city; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption
thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said city, in
the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
