CC RESOLUTION 2481RESOLUTION NO. 2481 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DIRECT- ING THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO SET FOR HEARING THE MATTER OF AN AMENDMENT TO OR THE REVOCATION OF PRECISE PLAN NO. 3. WHEREAS, the City Council on July 26, 1965 adopted Ordi- nance No. 638 granting Precise Plan No. 3 which permitted the develop- ment of a 100 unit apartment building complex subject to certain conditions imposed by Planning Commission Resolution No. 622 for property commonly known as 720 and 770 W. Imperial Avenue, situated in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as follows: Lots 4 and 5, Block 12, Tract No. 1685, Map Book 21, Page 98, as recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County; and WHEREAS, said Precise Plan included Conditions Nos. 13 and 14 of Planning Commission Resolution No. 622 as follows: "13. Access to parking shall be via Imperial Avenue only. 14. A solid fence, six feet high, shall be erected along the property line on Acacia Avenue. "; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Planning Department Staff that Conditions Nos. 13 and 14 of said Resolution No. 622 have not been met; and WHEREAS, the Planning Department Staff recommends that Pre- cise Plan No. 3 should not be required to comply with Conditions Nos. 13 and 14 of said Resolution No. 622; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council that Precise Plan No. 3 should comply with the requirements of Conditions Nos. 13 and 14 of said Resolution No. 622 or be revoked, or that an amendment be initiated to said Precise Plan No. 3 to remove said conditions; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Planning Department and the Planning Com- mission are hereby directed to set for hearing the matter of amending said Precise Plan No. 3 by rescinding Conditions Nos. 13 and 14 of said Reso- lution No. 622 or to revoke said Precise Plan No. 3 for failure to comply with the requirements of Conditions Nos. 13 and 14 of said Resolution No. 622. SECTION 2. That the City Council hereby refers this resolution and its intention as it is declared in Section 1 hereof to the Planning Commis- sion for its consideration and directs that the Planning Commission hold hear- ings and give notice thereof and file a report with the City Council all in the time, form and manner required by law. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original reso- lutions of said city; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said city, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
