CC RESOLUTION 2475S I , , , �-' AL RESOLUTION NO. 2475 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, CONSENT- ING TO ESTABLISHMENT OF A PORTION OF ROSECRANS AVENUE WITHIN SAID CITY AS A PART OF THE SYSTEM OF COUNTY HIGHWAYS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES. WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors did on January 30, 1973 duly adopt a Resolution declaring Rosecrans Avenue between Highland Avenue and Beach Boulevard as a part of the System of Highways of the County of Los Angeles, all as provided in Section 1700 to 1704, inclusive, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, said Board of Supervisors by said Resolution re- quested this Council to give its consent to modify and interconnect traffic control signals and do appurtenant work within said portion described above; and WHEREAS, a report of the impact of the proposed improvements on the environment has now been completed. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. Consent to Inclusion in County Highway System. This City Council does hereby consent to the establishment of that portion of Rosecrans Avenue between Highland Avenue and Beach Boulevard, lying in the City of E1 Segundo, as a part of the System of Highways of the County of Los Angeles as provided in Sections 1700 to 1704, inclusive, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. Said consent is for the pur- pose of modification and interconnection of traffic control signals and per- formance of appurtenant work by the County of Los Angeles. SECTION 2. Approval of Exemption Declaration. This City Council does hereby approve the Exemption Declaration dated January 18, 1973. SECTION 3. Effect on Environment. This City Council does hereby find that the project has no significant effect on the environment. SECTION 4. Finding of a Minor Nature. This City Council does hereby find that pursuant to Government Code, Section 65402 (b), the aforesaid improvement is for street improvements of a minor nature and that, therefore, the provisions of said Section requiring the submission to and report upon said project by the City Planning Commission do not apply. SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original reso- lutions of said City; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
