CC RESOLUTION 2462RESOLUTION NO. 2462 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DIRECTING THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT TO UNDERTAKE A STUDY WITHIN THE AREA BOUNDED ON THE NORTH BY MARI- POSA AVENUE, ON THE SOUTH BY FRANKLIN AVENUE, ON THE WEST BY EUCALYPTUS STREET AND ON THE EAST BY CENTER STREET. WHEREAS, the Planning Department has forwarded to the City Council a recommendation that a study be undertaken in the herein- after described property; and WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the Planning Commission and Planning Department to undertake a study concerning the zoning in said area. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Planning Department and the City Planning Commission are hereby directed to undertake a zoning study within the area bounded on the north by Mariposa Avenue, on the south by Franklin Avenue, on the west by Eucalyptus Street and on the east by Center Street, for the purpose of reevaluating each property within the said area to determine if the property is presently properly zoned and if the Commission determines that the property presently is not properly zoned, to recommend, after appropriate public hearings, appropriate zoning for said property. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the pas- sage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original resolutions of said city; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said city, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
