CC RESOLUTION 2212104-17 RESOLUTION NO. 2212 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING AN UNCLASSIFIED USE PERMIT, SUBJECT TO CER- TAIN LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS, TO MR. MARTEN BRETTLER, TO ESTABLISH A SELF - SERVICE, COIN - OPERATED CAR WASH ON PROP- ERTY LOCATED AT 118 E. IMPERIAL AVENUE, WITHIN SAID CITY. WHEREAS, Mr. Marten Brettler, did heretofore apply to the City Planning Commission of the City of El Segundo, California, for an Unclassified Use Permit to establish a self- service, coin - operated car wash on property commonly known as 118 E. Imperial Avenue, and more particularly described as follows: The North 125. 00 feet of Lot 4, Block 104, in the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 20, Page 23, in the office of the County Recorder of said County; and WHEREAS, said Commission after duly processing the said application for permit did, by its Resolution No. 676, recommend an Unclassified Use Permit be granted said applicant; and WHEREAS, said Council has duly processed the matter of said application before said Council as contemplated under the provisions of Chapter 34 of "The Code of the City of E1 Segundo, California, 1958, " and has reached its decision in said matter as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, FIND, DECLARE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the application of Mr. Marten Brettler, for a permit to establish a self- service, coin - operated car wash in a C -2 Zone at 118 E. Imperial Avenue, within the City of E1 Segundo, California, be, and the same is, hereby granted subject to the following limitations and conditions: 1. All areas proposed for use in connection with the car wash, ingress and egress to washing stalls, areas used for park- ing, area used for vacuuming or cleaning interior of vehicles, be paved to City specifications, properly drained, and the general area be maintained in a clean and neat appearance at all times. 2. That the self - service coin - operated car wash not be operated between eleven o'clock in the evening and six o'clock the following morning. 104-119 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original resolutions of said city; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
