RESOLUTION NO. 2193
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBIT-
ING AN EASTBOUND LEFT -TURN FROM EL SE-
GUNDO BOULEVARD DURING PEAK HOURS OF
OPERATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE
AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the terms and provisions of
Section 22506 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, and the
request of the traffic authority of the City of El Segundo, this resolu-
tion has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Department
of Public Works.
SECTION 2. That the eastbound left -turn from El Segundo
Boulevard to northbound Sepulveda Boulevard be prohibited from
6 :00 A. M. to 9: 00 A. M. and 3: 00 P. M. to 6: 00 P. M. ,Sundays and holi-
days excepted.
SECTION 3. The State Division of Highways is requested
to impose this left -turn restriction at the earliest possible date by the
posting of signs in said area. The provisions of this resolution shall
cease to be operative six months after receipt by the City Council of
written notice of withdrawal of approval of the Department of Public
Works of the State of California.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall become effective at such
time the left -turn restriction is duly posted to designate the left -turn
prohibition as herein set forth.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 26th day of June,
, 1967.
