CC RESOLUTION 2105I () >.qe RESOLUTION NO. 2105 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, CONCUR- RING IN THE FINDINGS AND DETERMINATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION AS SET FORTH IN ITS RESOLUTION NO. 599; DENYING THE APPEAL OF ROBERT J. FLYNN IN SAID MATTER AND ACCORDINGLY DENYING THE ZONE CHANGE APPLIED FOR. WHEREAS, an application for a zone change for Lot 1 and the northerly 60 feet of Lot 2, Block 108, as recorded in Map Book 20, Pages 114 and 115, in the office of the County Recorder, from R -2 to R -3 was heretofore filed by Robert J. Flynn and Edward Brandon, with the Planning Commission of the City of El Segundo, California, and said application was thereupon and thereafter duly, regularly and law- fully processed and heard by said Commission; and WHEREAS, after such processing and hearing said Com- mission did duly and regularly, at a meeting of said Commission held September 23, 1964, adopt its Resolution No. 599 denying said zone change; and WHEREAS, the City Council does incorporate said Com- mission's Resolution No. 599 herein, and by this reference said reso- lution is incorporated herein and made a part hereof, as though set forth at length; and WHEREAS, an appeal in writing from the decision of said Planning Commission was duly and regularly filed, within the time per- mitted, by Robert Flynn with the City Council; and WHEREAS, said City Council did thereafter duly, regularly and lawfully process and hear the matter of said application, the action of said Commission in denying the application for zone change, and the said appeal; and WHEREAS, said City Council has now reached its decision in the said matter; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETER- -1- MINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That said Council does hereby (1) make the same findings and determinations with reference to the application of said applicants as were made by the Planning Commission as set forth in its Resolution No. 599; (2) sustain the findings, determinations and action of said Planning Commission with reference to said application; and (3) in view of the foregoing recitals, findings and determinations, deny the application of said applicants and deny the said appeal of said applicants. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed to forward a copy of this resolution to the City Planning Com- mission and a like copy to the applicants for their files and information in the premises. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of origi- nal resolutions of said City; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
