A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION AND
ABANDONMENT OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF
EL SEGUNDO BOULEVARD WITHIN SAID CITY.
The City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, pur-
suant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941," being Part 3
of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
does hereby resolve, declare, determine and order as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of
the City of El Segundo, California, to order the vacation and abondonment
of a certain portion of El Segundo Boulevard within said city, which is
more particularly described as follows, to wit:
The northerly ten (10) feet of the southerly twenty (20) feet
of Lots 352, 3531 354, 355, 356, 406, 407 and 408 all in
Block 123, of El Segundo Sheet No. 8 in the City of E1 Se-
gundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California as per
map recorded in Book 22, pages 106 and 107 of Maps, in
the office of the County Recorder of said County.
For further particulars as to the proposed vacation of said
portion of El Segundo Boulevard, reference is hereby made to map, en-
titled "MAP SHOWING PORTION OF EL SEGUNDO BOULEVARD PRO-
POSED TO BE VACATED UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1972, "
on file and open to public inspection in the office of the City Clerk of the
City of El Segundo, California, in the City Hall of said city.
SECTION 2. That the hour of 7 :00 P. M., on Monday,
September 11, 1961, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, 350 Main
Street, in said city, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place
when and where any and all persons interested in or objecting to the pro-
posed vacation of said portion of said public street may appear before said
City Council and be heard and offer testimony and submit evidence in rela-
tion thereto.
SECTION 3. That the Superintendent of Streets of the City of
El Segundo, California, be and he is hereby directed to cause "NOTICE OF
STREET VACATION (PORTION OF EL SEGUNDO BOULEVARD) AND OF

PUBLIC HEARING THEREON," to be posted as required by the said
"Street Vacation Act of 19414 " being Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California; and the City Council of
said City hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of said Act.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the pass-
age and adoption of this resolution, and shall cause the same to be pub-
lished once in the El Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general
circulation, published and circulated in said City and hereby designated
for that purpose by the said City Council.
