RESOLUTION NO. 1944
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A LOT
SPLIT FOR THE SOUTHERLY 165 FEET OF THE NORTH-
ERLY 120 FEET OF LOT 7, BLOCK 97, EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
E1 Segundo, California, has duly processed the application
of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Newton, for a lot split pertaining to
the following described property:
The Southerly 165 feet of the Northerly 190
feet of Lot 7, Block 97, E1 Segundo Tract,
Map Book 20, pages 22 and 23, as recorded in
the office of the County Recorder, Los Angeles
County, State of California;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the applicable provisions of
the "E1 Segundo City Code, 195$" and ordinances pertaining
thereto, said Planning Commission has submitted to the City
Council by its Resolution No. 456 its findings and determina-
tions with respect thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council after duly reviewing the
findings of the Planning Commission finds itself in accord
with the action and recommendations of the Planning Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL
SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does adopt and
approve the action of the Planning Commission and does approve
said map as acted upon by the Planning Commission subject to
all the terms and conditions set forth and defined in said
Commission's Resolution No. 456, which by this reference is
incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same

in the book of original resolutions of said city; shall for-
ward a copy of this resolution to the said applicant; and
shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in
the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said
city in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed
and adopted.
Passed, approved and adopted this 12th day of Decem-
ber, 1960.
