CC RESOLUTION 1939,c7Y 4 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 193 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION AND ABANDON- MENT OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF IRENE COURT WITHIN SAID CITY. The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941", being Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, does hereby resolve, declare, deter- mine and order as follows! SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Coun- cil of the City of E1 Segundo, California, to order the vacation and abandonment of a certain portion of Irene Court within said city, which is more particularly described as follows, to wit: The southerly 5.9 feet of Irene Court through- out its entire length. For further particulars as to the proposed vacation of said portion of Irene Court, reference is hereby made to map, entitled "MAP SHOWING PORTION OF IRENE COURT PROPOSED TO BE VACATED UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1222_2., on file and open to public inspection in the office of the City Clerk of the City of El Segundo, California, in the City Hall of said city. SECTION 2. That the hour of 7:00 P. M., on Monday, Deoember 12, 1960, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, 350 Main Street, in said city, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation of said portion of said public street may appear before said City Council and be heard and offer testimony and submit evidence in relation thereto. SECTION 3. That the Superintendent of Streets of the City of E1 Segundo, California, be and he is hereby directed to - 1 - cause *NOTICE OF STREET VACATION (PORTION OF IRENE COURT) AND OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON", to be posted as required by the said "Street Vacation Act of 1941x, being Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and the City Council of said City hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of said Act. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the E1 Segundo Herald, a bi- weekly newspaper of general circulation, published and circu- lated in said City and hereby designated for that purpose by the said City Council.
