A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING
"LEUZINGER TERRITORY„ WITHDRAWN FROM THE
CONSOLIDATED COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City of El Segundo, California, on
February 15, 1960, completed annexation proceedings for the
territory hereinafter described, which territory has been
designated "Leuzinger Territory "; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo
is desirous of withdrawing said territory from the Consolidated
County Fire Protection District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of E1 Segundo, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the following described territory,
designated "Leuzinger Territory," be, and the same is hereby
withdrawn from the Consolidated County Fire Protection District:
LEUZINGER TERRITORY
All those portions of Sections 8 and 17, Township 3
South, Range 14 West, in the Sausal Redondo Rancho,
as per Map filed in Case No. 11629 of the Superior
Court of the State of California in and for the
County of Los Angeles, bounded and described as
follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the easterly
boundary of the City of E1 Segundo, as the same existed
on October 27, 1959, and the westerly prolongation of
the southerly line of the northerly $01.62 feet of Lot
49, Mills and Wicks' Subdivision, Book 16, Page 44,
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, said point
being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence easterly along
the westerly prolongation of and along the southerly line
of the northerly 801.62 feet of Lot 49, said Mills and
Wicks' Subdivision, to the point of intersection with
the easterly line of said Lot 49; thence southerly along
the easterly line of said Lot 49 to the point of inter-
section with the westerly prolongation of the centerline
of 127th Place, Tract 14749, Book 368, Pages 1$ to 22
inclusive, Map Records of Los Angeles County; thence
easterly along the westerly prolongation of the center-
line of said 127th Place to the point of intersection
with the westerly line of Isis Avenue, shown as 60 feet
wide on said Tract 14749; thence southerly along the
westerly line of the said Isis Avenue and along its
southerly prolongation to the point of intersection with
the boundary of the said City of E1 Segundo said point

being in the southerly line of the northerly 50
feet of said Section 17; thence westerly, northerly,
easterly and northerly along the various courses of
the boundary of the said City of E1 Segundo to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed
to file a copy of this Resolution with the State Board of
Equalization, the Board of Supervisors, as the governing
body of the district, the County Clerk and the County Assessor.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk of the City of E1
Segundo shall enter this resolution in the book of original
resolutions of said City; shall make a minute of the passage
and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the
City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at
which the same is passed and adopted.
SECTION 4. That this resolution shall take effect
immediately.
Passed, approved and adopted this 23d day of February,
1960.
