RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1870
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF BUNGALOW DRIVE
WITHIN SAID CITY.
The City Council of the City of El Segundo, California,
pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941 ", being
Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, does hereby resolve, declare, determine and order as follows:
SECTION I. That it is the intention of the City Council of
the City of El Segundo, California, to order the vacation and abandonment
of a certain portion of Bungalow Drive within said city, which is more par-
ticularly described as follows, to wit:
That portion of the westerly one foot of Bungalow Drive
lying between the north line of El Segundo Boulevard and
the north line of Elsey Place.
For further particulars as to the proposed vacation of said portion
of Bungalow Drive, reference is hereby made to map, entitled "MAP SHOWING
PORTION OF BUNGALOW DRIVE PROPOSED TO BE VACATED UNDER RESO-
LUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1870 ", on file and open to public inspection
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of El Segundo, California, in the
City Hall of said city.
SECTION 2. That the hour of 7 :00 P.M., on Monday, August
24, 1959, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, 350 Main Street, in
said city, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place when and
where any and all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
of said portion of said public street may appear before said City Council and
be heard and offer testimony and submit evidence in relation thereto.
SECTION 3. That the Superintendent of Streets of the City of
El Segundo, California, be and he is hereby directed to cause "NOTICE OF
STREET VACATION (PORTION OF BUNGALOW DRIVE) AND OF PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON ", to be posted as required by the said "Street Vacation
-I-
Act of 1941 ", being Part 3 ofDivision 9 of the Street and Highways Code
of the State of California, and the City Council of said City hereby elects
to proceed under the provisions of said Act.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of this resolution, and shall cause the same to be published
once in the El Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in said City and hereby designated for that purpose
by the said City Council.
