RESOLUTION NO. 1832
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
THE PROPOSAL OF BAILEY CONSTRUCTION COM-
PANY FOR FURNISHING THE ASPHALTIC EMULSION
REQUIREMENTS TO SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has heretofore requested quo-
tations on the asphaltic emulsion requirements for the City of
El Segundo; and
WHEREAS, only one quotation was received and said Mana-
ger did refer said quotation to the Director of Public Works for
checking and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, said Director of Public Works has recommended
that Bailey Construction Company, the only quotation received,
be awarded the contract for the asphaltic emulsion requirements
for said city;
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs in the recommendation
of said Director and has reached its decision in the said matter;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SE-
GUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the quotation of BAILEY CONSTRUCTION
COMPANY which said Council determines to be substantially as fol-
lows, to wit:
"ITEM 1
Approx. 10,000 Gal. BITUMALS SS -1 as specified by the As-
phalt Institute latest revision.
Less than 100 gal. 10.115
More than 100 gal. 0.125 per gallon at bidderts plant
loaded in City Truck.
$0.13 per gallon delivered to E1 Segundo City Garage,
Plus $35 delivery charge 601 E. Holly Avenue
E1 Segundo, California
NO APPLICABLE TAXES INCLUDED IN ABOVE PRICES
