RESOLUTIOPS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, IN THE OF IMPROVEMlEivT OF CYPRESS STREET, AND PROFILES NO. 550328, ON FILE OF THE CITY ENGINEER OF SAID CITY THE CITY ,,,iATTER AS PER PLANS IN THE OFFICE JHEREAS, the City Council of the City of El SeTundo, California, has heretofore received a waiver petition from prop- erty owners for the improvement of a portion of Cypress Street and intersections of said street, to;ether with plats or maps showin'- the exterior boundaries of the proposed assessment dis- trict for the improvement of said street; and dJHEREAS, the City Engineer has reported to this City Council and he has chec?ed and examined the petition with t. -c report of ewl=s furnished by the Title Insurance &. Trust Com- pany and finds that said petition represents (8.3. of the quali- fied owners in area of the property subject to assessment for the improvement of said street; and IMEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the said petition and report of the Engineer with reference to the proposed improvement referred to in said petition; 1\1061i, THEREFORE, THE CI72Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERT.IINE, FIND AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the improvement referred to in said petition is to be done and carried through under the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911," Division 7 of the Streets aad Hil -hways Code of the State of California. SECTIO" 2. That this City Council does .�erehy find and determine that the qualified sis;natures to said petition, as shown by the report of such owners furnished by the Title Insur- ance & Trust Company, represent more than sixty per cent (50-,o') of the total assessable area of the proposed district, as shown - 1 - and delineated upon the plat or map attached to said petition. SECTI071 3. That this City Council does hereby :Further find and determine that said petition for said improvement repre- sents all th.e requirements prescribed by Section 2£04 of the "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Idajority Pro- test Act of 193 1," being; Division of the Streets and 3ighways Code of the State of California, and the City Council intends to meet each and every condition and make each and every findin" necessary on its part in order to permit the proceedin' -s for said improvement to -o fon -;ard to completion, without further refer- ence to or application of the provisions of said Division iy of said Streets and IIi;hways Code.
