RESCLUTIOM OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, IN THE T4ATTER
OF IMPROVENENT OF LONG VISTA STREET, AS PER
PLANS AND PROFILES NO. 560329, ON FILE IN THE
OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER OF SAID CITY
vVHEREAS, the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, has heretofore received a waiver petition from prop-
erty owners for the improvement of a portion of Loma Vista
Street and intersections of said street, together with plats or
maps showing the exterior boundaries of the proposed assessment
district for the improvement of said street; and
;JHERLAS, the City En -ineer has reported to this City
Council and lie has checked and exairined the petition with the
report of owners furnished by the Title Insurance & Trust Com-
pany and finds that said petiticn represents 61.2j of the quali-
fied owners in area of the property subject to assessment for
the improvement of said street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the
said petition and report of the En;rineer with reference to the
proposed improvement referred to in said petition;
T104, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL
SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERN'IINE, FIND AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the improvement referred to in said
petition is to be done and carried throul-h under the provisions
of the "Improvement Act of 1911," Division 7 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTICN 2. That this City Council does hereby find
and determine that the qualified si;,;natures to said petition, as
shown by the report of such owners furnished by the Title Insur-
ance P Trust Company, represent more than sixty per cent (60;=)
of the total assessable area of the proposed district, as shown

and delineated upon the plat or map attached to said petitic;..
SECTIOA 3. That this City Council does hereby further
find and deter_iine that said petition for said improvement repre-
sents all the requirements prescribed by Section 280)+ of the
"Special Assess:.Qent Investigation, Limitation and ,,ajority Pro-
test Act of 1931," bein,U Division i+ of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California, and the City Council intends to
Ineet each and every condition and make each and every finding;
necessary on its part in order to permit the proceedings for said
improvement to Io forward to completion, without further refer-
ence to or application of the provisions of said Division 4 of
said Streets and Highways Code.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in
the book of resolutions of said city, and shall make a minute of
the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceed -
ines of the City Council of said city in the rainutes of tie nieet-
in* at which the same is passed and adopted.
