A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING
NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A REGULAR GENERAL MU-
NICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD Ld SAID CITY ON
TUESDAY, THE 10TH DAY OF APRIL, 1956, FOR THE
ELECTION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS OF SAID CITY AS
REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW
CITIES.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SE-
GUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DE'TERD'lINE AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requirements of the
laws of the State of California relating to general law cities
*within said State, there shall be, and there is hereby called and
ordered, held in the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, on Tuesday, the 10th day of April, 1956, a
regular s;eneral municipal election of the qualified electors of
said City for the purpose of electing; three members of the City
Council of said City for the full term of four years; a City
Clerk of said City for the full term of four years; and a City
Treasurer of said City for the full term of four years.

SECTION 2. That for the purpose o holdir.sr said re,;u-

precincts within the said City, consisting in all instances of
the re7ular voting precincts as now established by the Board of
Supervisors of Los Angeles County for holding C•eneral, state and
county elections. The respective precincts, polling places of

pointed and established as follows:

as election officers are hereby appointed as such election of-
ficers respectively, and their compensation is hereby fixed at the

and clerks, each, for said election. The rental for each of such
polling; places, where a charge is made, shall be the sum of :'15.00
for said election.
