CC RESOLUTION 1520.r r sJ RESOLUTION NO. 1520 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, ASCERTAINING AND DETERMINING PREVAILING RATES OF WAGE TO DE PAID ON PUBLIC WORKS IN THE CI`T'Y OF EL SE- GUNDO, CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, it is necessary that the City Council of the City of El Segundo ascertain and determine the -eneral prevailing rates of wage on public works; and by the provisions of said Code, it is mandatory upon the awarding, body of any public improvement to ascertain and determine. the -eneral prevailing rates of per diem ware in the locality in which the work is to be performed, for each craft or type of workman or me- chanic needed to execute the contracts awarded in said city for public works, and also the meneral prevailing rates for legal holidays and overtime work for each craft or type of workman and mechanic; The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the Book of Resolutions of said city, and shall make a minute of the adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said city in the minutes of the meeting; at which the same is passed and adopted.
