CC RESOLUTION 1389RESOLUTION NO. 1389. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFOBN IA, DETER- MINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY DEMAND THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL IM- PROVEMENTS, AND MAKING FINDINGS RELATING THERETO. The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND DETERMINE as follows: SECTION 1. That the public interest and necessity de- mand the acquisition and construction by the City of E1 Segundo of a certain municipal improvement, to wit: a city hall, includ- ing the improvement of the city hall grounds with landscaping and vehicle parking facilities, and including the acquisition of all furniture, furnishings, equipment and other property neces- sary for any of the foregoing. That the estimated cost of said municipal improvement is the sum of 9270,000. SECTION 2. That the public interest and necessity de- mand the acquisition and construction by the City of El Segundo of a certain municipal improvement, to wit: a building to pro- vide quarters for the police department and city jail, including an indoor pistol range and quarters for civil defense, and in- cluding all furniture, furnishings, equipment and other property necessary for any of the foregoing. That the estimated cost of said municipal improvement is the sum of 41200000. SECTION 3. That each of said municipal improvements requires an expenditure greater than the amount allowed for it by the annual tax levy. - 1 - "7480 SECTION 4. That each of said municipal improvements is necessary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of the City of El Segundo.
