CC RESOLUTION 1381''6 4W RESOLUTION NO. 1381. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF MAPLE AVENUE BETWEEN VIRGINIA STREET AND KELLCREST ST. AS PER PLAN AND PROFILE NO. 530903 CONSISTING OF 2 SHEETS, ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER OF SAID CITY WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of El Segundo. California, has heretofore received a petition from property owners for the improvement of Maple Avenue, between Virginia Street and Hillcrest Street, together with a plat or map showing the exterior boundaries of the proposed assessment district for the improvement of said street; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reported to this City Council that he has checked and examined the petition with the report of owners furnished by the Title Insurance & Trust Company and finds that the petition represents 73.6% of the qualified owners in area of the property subject to assessment for the improvement of said street; and WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the said petition and report of the Engineer with reference to the proposed improvement referred to in said petition. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, FIND AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the improvement referred to in said petition is to be done and carried through under the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 19111t, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTION 2. That this City Council does hereby find and determine that the qualified signatures to said petition, as shown by the report of such owners furnished by the Title Insurance & Trust Company, represent more than sixty per cent (60 %) of the total assessable area of the proposed district, as shown and delineated upon the plat or map attached to said petition. -1 - 7441.
