CC RESOLUTION 1370RESOLUTION NO. 1370 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNTA, APPROVING THE RECU41-'IE'NDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION AS CONTAINED IN ITS RESOLUTION NO. 170 AND ACCORDINGLY DENYING THE APPLI- CATION OF SERVOMECHANISMS, INC. TO REZONE THE PROPERTY THEREIN REFERRED TO. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, after hear- ings duly and regularly held as provided by law, did in Reso- lution No. 170 of said Commission passed and adopted on the 14th day of December, 1953, recommend to the City Council of said City that the application of Servomechanisms, Inc. to re- zone and reclassify from a district of Zone 11-1 to a district of Zone P -1 under the provisions of Ordinance No. 306 of said city, the following described property, located in the City of El Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California, The southerly 60 feet of Lot 215, Block 123, El Segundo Tract, be denied; and iIEREAS, more than twenty (20) days have now elapsed since said 14th day of December, 10,53, the date of the adop- tion of said resolution of said Commission, and no appeal from the action of said Commission as expressed in its said Resolu- tion No. 170 has been filed or made; and WHEREAS, under the circumstances the City Council believes that the action hereinafter taken is justified in the premises; NOW1 THEREFORE, THE CITY" COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE., DECLARE, DETERMINE, FIND AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: - 1 - 7394 SECTION 1. That said City Council does hereby refer to Resolution No. 170 of the City Planning Commission of the City of El Segundo, California, adopted December 14, 1953, which is now on file in the office of the Secretary of said Commission and a duplicate copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of E1 Segundo and by this reference does hereby incorporate the said resolution herein and make it a part hereof as fully and for all intents and purposes as though it were herein set forth at length. SECTION 2. That said City Council does hereby make the same findings and determinations on its part as are made by said City Planning Commission in its said Resolution No. 170, with reverence to the application of said Servomechanisms, Inc. to rezone and reclassify the southerly 60 feet of Lot 215, Block 123, El Segundo Tract, within said City, from Zone H -1 use to Zone P -1 use; and said Council does further hereby ap- prove the recommendations of said City Planning Commission that said application be disapproved without prejudice. SECTION 3. That said City Council does hereby ac- cordingly on its own part disapprove the said application and deny the said application, without prejudice, however, to the filing of a new application should said applicant at any fu- ture time so desire. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original resolutions of said City; shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted; and shall forward a copy of this resolution to said applicant - 2 - and to said City Planning Commission for their respective in- formation and files in the premises.
