CC RESOLUTION 1326RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1326 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF OAK AVENUE, WITHIN SAID CITY. The City Council of the City of El Segundo, Cali- fornia, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941 ", being Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, does hereby resolve, declare, determine and order as follows: SECTION 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, to order the vacation of that certain portion of Oak Avenue lying between the west line of Bayonne Street and the east line of Loma Vista Street, within said City. (Said portion of Oak Avenue so proposed to be vacated was dedicated for public street proposes, to be known as Oak Avenue, by Resolution No. 1079 of said Council, adopted on the 10th day of May, 1950, and covers the southerly 46 feet of Lots 5 and 6 of Block 96 of El Segundo Sheet No. 3, as shown on map recorded in Book 20 at Pages 22 and 23 of Maps, records of Los Angeles County, on file in the office of the Recorder of said County.) For further particulars as to the proposed vacation of said portion of said street, reference is hereby made to a map entitled, "MAP SHOWING PORTION OF OAK AVENUE PROPOSED TO BE VACATED UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1,326 ", on file and open to public inspection in the office of the City Clerk of the City of El Segundo, California, in the City Hall of said City, located at 203 Richmond Street therein. - 1 - SECTION 2. That the hour of 7:00 ofelock p.m. (California Daylight Saving Time), on Wednesday, the 24th day of June , 1953, in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, 203 Richmond Street, in said City, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any and all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vaca- tion of said portion of said public street may appear before said City Council and be heard and offer testimony and sub- mit evidence in relation thereto. SECTION 3. That the Superintendent of Streets of the City of E1 Segundo, California, be and he is hereby di- rected to cause "NOTICE OF STREET VACATION (PORTION OF OAK AVENUE) AND OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON", to be posted as re- quired by the said "Street Vacation Act of 1941 ", being Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; and the City Council of said City here- by elects to proceed under the provisions of said Act. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution, and shall cause the same to be published once in the E1 Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, published and cir- culated in said City and hereby designated for that purpose by the said City Council.
