RESOLIJiION OF T1.E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF "L SLGUNDO, CALIFORNIA
ACCEPTING THE C9Sh b7-D OF MR,). J. R. STRUTZEL, FOR AhD Oi1 BEHALF
OF JAMES R. SIRUTBEL FOR CERTAIN CITY OWNED REAL PROPERTY.
NIPIREAS, the City of E1 Segundo, California, has hereto-
fore instituted and is now nrosecuting a general comprehensive
program for the restoration of tax deeded properties within said
City to a tax paying basis; end
'lII�EREAS, pursuant to said procedure as so established,
said Council has caused to be given and published a novice of
intention to sell the interest of said City in certain of such tax
deeded parcels, which said notice is designated as "iJotice ido.
Eleven M of Intention to Sell City of El Segundo Owned Real Property
and Inviting Bids or Offers Therefor", and vh ich said notice was
published in the El Segundo Herald in the issues of December 11th,
18th and 25th, 1952; and
WHEREAS, responsive to said notice the bid hereinafter
specifically mentioned for the property hereinafter described was
filed and has been duly and regularly considered by this Council; and
'vl'HEREAS, t -is Council has reached a decision with reference
to the sale of said property;
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY T F CITY COUNCIL OF 1HE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, AS FOLLOWS:
First: That the particular property which is the subject
of this resolution and the same therein contemplated, is located
in the City of El Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
and is described as follows:
Lot 34 in Tract 3012, as per Book 29, Page 39 of
Maps, records of Los Angeles County.
Second: That it would be to tr_e best interest of said City
to accept the bid hereinafter specifically referred to in the sum of
9500.00 cash.
Third; That tie bid of Fibs. J. R. 3trutsel, for and on
benalf of James R. Strutmel and Bette C. Strutael, hereinafter

called the purchasers, to purchase by good a d sufficient deed
with policy of title insurance said property from said City for
the sum of ;P500.00 cash, be and the same is hereby accepted.
Fourth: That the said acceptance of said bid ant the sale
herein made by virtue of t:is acceptance tnereof are so accepted
and made subject to the terms and conditions of said "notice Ale.
Eleven M of Intention to Sell City of El Segundo Owned Real Property
and Inviting Bids or Offers Therefor ".
Fifth: That true Mayor of the City of E1 Segundo is hereby
authorized and instructed to execute, in the name of said City and
on its behalf, a quitclaim deed of said real property to said
purchaser, in form approved by the City Attorney or Special City
,Attorney, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and instructed
to attest the same and affix the corporate seal of said City
thereto, and to deliver said deed, together with policy of
title insurance, to said purchaser.
Sixth: That the bid of said purchasers above referred to,
be filed in the office of the City Clerk of said City on file,
ana the said bid and said "Notice No. Eleven M of Intention to
Sell City of El Segundo Owned Heal Property and Inviting Bids or
Offers Therefor" are hereby referred to and by this reference
expressly incorporated herein and made a part hereof.
Seventh: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage
and adoption of tnis resolution; shall cause t.e original of the
same to be entered in the book of resolutions of said City of
E1 Segundo, and shall make a minute of the passage ana adoption
thereof in the records of the proceedings of saiu City Council
of said City, and in the minutes of the meeting; at which the same
is passed and adopted.
Passed, approved and adopted this 4th day of March, 1953.
