CC RESOLUTION 1139G350 RESOLUTION NO. 1139 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING CERTAIN STREETS AND HIGHWAYS WITHIN SAID CITY, OTHER THAN STATE HIGHWAYS, AS "MAJOR CITY STREETS", PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF DIVISION 3 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS AMENDED. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That pursuant to the authority so to do, vested in said Council under the provisions of Division 3 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California (State. Ex Sess. 1947, Ch 11), and subject to the approval of the Department of Public Works of the State of California, the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, does hereby select and designate the follow- ing public streets to be major city streets included in the city system of major city streets of, in and for said City of E1 Segundo, to wit: (1) Eucalyptus Drive between E1 Segundo Boulevard and Mariposa Avenue; (2) Standard Street from Holly Avenue to Grand Avenue; (3) Holly Avenue from Main Street to Standard Street; and (4) That portion of Imperial Highway lying within the limits of the City of E1 Segundo between Main Street and the westerly City limits. SECTION 2. Said streets or portions of streets herein- above designated in Section 1 of this resolution, as "Major City Streets" within said city, shall be in addition to the major city streets (or streets of major importance) heretofore selected and designated by said Council as "Major City Streets" (or "Streets of Major Importance"), of, in and for said City. - 1 - mediately. 635.8 SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the pas- sage and adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original resolutions of said City; and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceed- ings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same was passed and adopted. Said City Clerk shall also cause two certified copies thereof to be transmitted to the Director of Public Works of the Department of Public Works, Division of Highways of the State of California, through the office of the District Engineer for its information and approval.
