CC RESOLUTION 1126RESOLUTION NO. 1126 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A TERPORARY REVOCABLE PERMIT TO TIDE WATER ASSOCIATED OIL COMPANY TO INSTALL A CERTAIN OIL PIPE LINE IN A PORTION OF AVIATION BOULE- VARD WITHIN SAID CITY. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF M SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE$ DECLARE, DETER,= AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the following instruments to wit: A. The original application of Tide Water Associated Oil Company, Associated Division, dated January 29, 19510 to excavate for and to construct, maintain and operate an oil pipe line, not to exceed 12 inches in diameter in Avi- ation Boulevard (formerly Inglewood - Redondo Road) in the City of E1 Segundo, California; B. Print or drawing No. A•1202 attached to said ap- plication; and 0. The letter of said Tide Water Associated Oil Com- pany, Associated Division, dated January 30, 1951, trans- mitting said application and drawing to the City of El Segundo, Director of Public Works; be, and the same are hereby ordered placed on file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of E1 Segundo, California, for the pur- poses of identification and reference, and that said instruments, so on file, be and they are hereby referred to and by this refer- ence incorporated herein and made a part hereof. SECTION 2. That the permit applied for in said appli- cation hereinabove referred to in Section 1 of this resolution, shall be and the same is hereby authorized, and granted subject to each and all of the terms, conditions and provisions of Resolution - 1 - C`?r.) No. 427 of said City, entitled; "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, ESTAB- LISHING RULES AND REGULATIONS RELATING TO THE FILING AND GRANTING OF APPLICATIONS FOR TEMPORARY PERMITS TO INSTALL, LAY, REPAIR, REMOVE OR ABANDON PIPE LINES IN THE PUBLIC STREETS AND PLACES OF SAID CITY.", passed and adopted on the 17th day of November, 1937, and par - tioularly to the terms, provisions, conditions, rules and regula- tions relating to LONGITUDINAL ENCROACEIEWTS, as set forth in Subdivision B of the "Rules and Regulations" contained in Section 5 of said Resolution No. 427. SECTION 3. That said Resolution No. 427 hereinabove referred to in Section 2 of this resolution, which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk of said City, is hereby referred to and by this reference expressly incorporated herein and made a part hereof. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall issue to the said Tide Water Associated Oil Company, Associated Division, a certified copy of this resolution, and such certified copy so is- sued to such permittee, shall be and constitute the permit herein authorized and granted. SECTION 5. That as provided in Section S of said Resolution No. 427, the permit herein granted is temporary only, and shall be revocable at any time by the City Council of said City without notice, without cause and without liability, and must be accepted by the said permittee accordingly. SECTION 6. That the said permit shall not become effective until the same is accepted by the said permittee. Said acceptance must be in writing and may be in the form of a letter signed by such permittee, and filed with the City Clerk, evidencing such acceptance. SECTION 7. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause the same to - 2 - be entered in the book of resolutions of said City and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
