A F1+SO1_UTIO7 OF T1 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SFG'JNDO, CALIFORNIA, FIYih_t'G THE RATES OF T_=,S LEVIED 1_T r1ND FOR SAdD CITY, SUFFICIENT TO ILII3E THE A;TOUNT OF MONEY FI 1D BY THE SAID CITY COUP ?CIL IFS ORDINANCE NO. 372 THE= 2 PASSED AND ADOPTED OTT THE 23rd DAY OF AUGUST, 1950, AND TT.] E`,TENSE OF COLLECTION OF SAID AMOUNT, THE' -)AID RATES HEREIN F=�_-D BEING THE RATES OF Tr4�',H'S IT` P�TD FOR S ".ID CITY FOR THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR 1950 -1951. 77H1S3 the City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, did, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of August, 1950, duly pass and adopt an ordinance, being Ordinance No. 372 of said City, fixing the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property therein as a revenue to carry on the various departments of said City; pay its bonded indebtedness; meet its obligations under the California State Employees' Retirement Act; maintain the free public library of said City; meet and pay the costs of sewerage facilities; and fixing the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable land of "Act of 1927 Municipal Im- provement District No. 1Y1 of said City; for the current fiscal year 1950 -1951, at the total sum of 523,749.72; AND, 7=AS, said Council estimates that the expense of collecting the above amount so fixed will amount to the sum of l 496.88; 1171), "IILREAS, it is now the duty of said City Council to fix the respective rates of taxes necessary to be levied with in said City in order to raise the respective amounts of money - 1 - necessary to be raised by taxation therein for the current fiscal year 1950 -1951; N0' "J9 TBEEEPOPaE, the City Council of the City of El Se- gundo, California, does hereby resolve, declare and determine as follows: SECTION 1. That "Act of 1927 Municipal Improvement District No. 1 of the City of El Segundo, California," herein - above referred to is that certain municipal improvement district within said City contemplated by and described in Ordinance No. 178 of said City adopted on the 12th day of August, 1931, and proceedings had in connection therewith, which said ordinance is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City and is hereby referred to and by this reference incorporated herein and made a part hereof for all further particulars with reference to the said district and the extent thereof and the land included therein. StiC`SION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution, shall cause the same to be entered in the book of resolutions of the said City and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said city in ' the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adop- ted. Said City Clerk shall also immediately after the passage and adoption of this resolution, cause a copy thereof, duly cer- tified, to be transmitted to the Auditor of Los Angeles County, California.
