RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK
NO. 1046
RESOLUTION OF THE COtT CIL OF THE CITY
OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE WORK
DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 10110
The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, pursuant
to the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 19111t, being Division 7 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, does resolve as follows=
That the public interest and convenience require the work herein-
after mentioned to be done and, therefore, the said City Council hereby orders
the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said City, to -wits
The grading, paving with plant mix material, construction of cement
curbs, catch- basins, corrugated metal pipe storm drain, concrete outlet box
and appurtensat work in connection therewith, in Eucalyptus Drive and easement,
all as more particularly described in Resolution of Intention No. 1040, passed
and adopted by the City Council of said City on the 9th day of November, 1949
and on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
For further particulars, reference is hereby made to said Resolution
of Intention No. 1O40 and to the plans, profiles and drawings on file in the
off ices of the City Engineer and City Clerk of said City of E1 Segundo, and to
the specifications for the said work heretofore adopted by the said City
Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City, and all of
said plans, profiles, drawings and specifications heretofore approved by the
City Council of said City are incorporated herein and made a part hereof, and
reference is hereby made thereto for a more particular description of said work.
Said City Council has determined and declared that the contemplated
work and improvement heretofore mentioned was, in the opinion of said City
Council, of more than local or ordinary public benefit and the said City
Council has made the expenses of said work chargeable upon a district. For
the particular description of the said district, reference is hereby made to
said Resolution of Intention No. 10110.

Said City Council has determined and declared that serial bonds,
bearing interest at the rate of six per cent (6%) per annum and extending
over a period ending nine (9) years from the second day of January next
succeeding the next October 15th following their date, will be issued here-
under in the manner provided by the *Improvement Act of 19119, being Part 5,
Division 7 of the Streets aid Highways Code of the State of California, to
represent each assessment of Twenty -five Dollars ($25.00) or more remaining
unpaid for thirty (30) days after the date of the warrant.
All of the work herein ordered shall be done and carried through
in pursuance of an act of the legislature of the State of California, desig-
nated the *Improvement Act of 193.1*, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways
Code.
The Clerk of said City, is hereby directed to post conspicuously
for five (5) days, on or near the chamber door of the City Council, in the
manner and form required by said Code, a Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals or
Bids for doing the work herein ordered, and the City Clerk is hereby directed
to publish twice in the "E1 Segundo Herald ", a weekly newspaper, published
and circulated in said City and hereby designated by the said City Council
for that purpose, a Notice Inviting such proposals or bids for doing the
said work aSd referring to the specifications on file.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this
Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of resolutions of said City,
and shall make a mi.mxte of the passage and adoption thereof in the records
of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the
meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of December, 1949.

City of E1 Segundo, California, do hereby certify that the
whole number of members of the City Council of said City is
five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution
No. 1046 , was duly passed and adopted by the said City
Council, approved and signed by the Mayor of said City,
and attested by the City Clerk of said City, all at a
regular meeting of the said Council held on the 7th day
of December, 1949, and that the same was so passed and adopted
by the following votes
