CC RESOLUTION 976RESOLUTION NO. 976 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS FOR ti,650,000 WATERWORKS BONDS, ELECTION 1948, SERIES 1, OF SAID CITY. WHEREAS, the issuance of ;050,000 of bonds for waterworks purposes was authorized at an election held in the City of E1 Segundo on December 14, 1948; and WHEREAS, this City Council has determined to provide for the issuance of ,P650,000 of said bonds to be designated "eaterworks Bonds, Election 1948 Series 111, said bonds to be dated February 1, 1949 and to mature 425,000 on February 1 in each of the years 1950 to 1959, inclusive, and y?'20,000 on February 1 in each year 1960 to 1979, inclusive, and desires to invite bids for said ',?650,000 of bonds; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows: SECTION 1. That sealed bids or proposals for the purchase of said V"650,000 of bonds be received up to 7:00 o'clock P. "I., January 19, 1949. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice inviting bids once in the E1 Segundo Herald, a weekly newspaper of general circulation in said City. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause the original of the same to be entered in the book of resolutions of the said City, and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said -1- City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
