CC RESOLUTION 914rw 4 9 b RESOLUTION NO. 914 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, IN THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED GRADING, PAVING AND CONSTRUCTION OF CEMENT CONCRETE CURBS IN A PORTION OF SYCAMORE AVENUE IN SAID CITY. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California did on the 17th day of December, 1947, receive a petition from the property owners for the grading, paving and the construction of cement concrete curbs in Sycamore Avenue between the center line of Loma Vista Street and the center line of Hillcrest Street, together with a plat or map showing the exterior boundaries of the proposed assessment district for said improvement; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reported to this City Council that the said petition represents 71.23% of the total area of the proposed assessment district, as shown and delineated upon said plat or map attached to said petition; and WHEREAS, the said City Council has duly considered the said petition and report of the City Engineer with reference to the proposed improvements referred to in said petition: NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Fl Segundo, Calif- ornia, does hereby resolve, declare, determine, find and order as follows: SECTION 1. That the improvements referred to in said petition above referred to, is the grading, paving and the construction of cement concrete curbs in that portion of Sycamore Avenue between the center line of Loma Vista Street and the center line of Hillcrest Street. SECTION 2. That said City Council does hereby find and determine that the qualified signatures to the petition represent more than sixty (60 %) per cent of the total assessable area of the proposed district, as shown and delineated upon the plat or map attached to the said petition. SECTION 3. That this City Council does hereby further find and determine that the said petition for said improvements represents all the requirements prescribed by Section 2804 of the "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931 ", being Divisim 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and the City Council in adopting this resolution intends to meet each and every condition -1- and to make each and every finding necessary on its part in order to permit the proceedings for said improvements to go forward to completion without further reference to or application of the provisions of said Division 4 of said Streets and Highways Code. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of resolutions of said city, and shall make a minute of the passage and adop- tion thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
