CC RESOLUTION 827RE50LUTICN OF INTENTION NO. 827 A RESOLUTIO11 OF THE CITY COUr1CIL OF Th.E =__Y OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORDIIA, DECLARING THE INTENTION OF SAID COUNCIL TO CLOSE, UP, VACATE AND ABANDON FOR PUBLIC ALLEY PURPOSES, A CERT4IN PORTION OF TUT CER'iAIN PUBLIC ALLEY RUNNING NORTHERLY AND SOUTHERLY IN BLOCK 12, BETWEEN CONCORD STREET AND RICHMOND STREET, ,9ITHIN SAID CTTY. The City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, does resolve, declare end determine ac follows: SECTION 1. That the public interest rnd cor.— venience require that there be closed up, vacated and abandoned for public alley purposes, and the said City Council does hereby declare its intention to close up, vacate and abandon for public alley purposes, a certain portion of that o -rtain public alley running northerly and southerly in Block lc, between Concord Street and Richmond Street, t.ithin the said City of E1 Segundo, California, described as follows, to —wit: The Southerly 150 feet of thet public Alley extending in a Northerly direction through Block 12, between Concord Street Pnd Richmond Street, in the City of E1 Segundo, California, as shown on E1 Segundo Sheet No. 1, recorded in Book 18, Page 69 of Meps, Records of Los Ange1Ps County, California, and on file in the office of the County Recorder of said County. It is hereby decl•,red to be the nur*)ose anu in- tention of the said City Council by these proceedings to vacate and abandon for public alley purposes, all of said h.ereinabove described portion of said public alley. SECTION 2. That the exterior boundary lines of the district to be affected by said work or improvement and 1— 4790 to be asseesed to pay the damages, costs and expenses thereof, if any, are hereby described as follows: All of that portion of the City of El Segundo, California, included within the followin` described exterior boundary line, to -wit: Beginning, at the southwesterly corner of Lot 9, Block 12, as shon,n on E1 Segundo Sheet No. 1, recorded in Book 18, Page 69 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, California, snd on file in the office of the County Recorder of said County; thence northerly along the westerly line of said Lot 9 to the northwesterly corner thereof; thence eaqt-rl along the northerly line of Lots 9, 10, 11 and 17, and across inter- vening alleys to the northeasterly corner of Lot 17, Block 12, recorded and on file as aforesaid; thence southerly along the easterly line of Loto 17, lc. 15, 14, 13 and 12, to the southeasterly corner of Lot 12, Block 12, recorded and on file As eforesnid; thence westerly along the southerly line of Lots 12, 11, 10, and 9 -nd across inter- vening alleys to the point of beginning. Tf.ere is excepted from the above district all portions of all public streets and alleys, included within the above described boundaries of said district. SECTION 3.
