;C- allEAS, the City of El Segundo, California, has heretofore
instituted and is now prosecuting a general comprehensive program
for the restoration of tax deeded properties within said City to
a tax paying basis;
A.D ,U'i�RLAS, said Council has, pursuant to said procedure
as so established, caused to be given and published a notice of
intention to sell the interest of said City in certain of such tax
deeded parcels, which Baia notice is desi nated as "rdotice "o. 3,M
of Intention to Sell City of E1 Segundo owned real property and
inviting bids or offers therefor ", and which said notice was duly
published in the E1 oegundo herald in the issues of �iay 20th, i,lay 27th,
and June 3rd, 1943;
A.D .iHERzA3, responsive to said notice the bid hereinafter
specifically mentioned for the property hereinafter described was
filed, and has been duly considered oy this Council;
A.,D 7HEREAS, this Council has reached a decision with reference
to the sale of said property;

of E1 Segundo, California, as follows:
First: 'chat the particular property wig ich is tt,e subject of this
resolution and the sale therein contemplated, is located in the City
of sl Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California, and is des-
cribed as follows, to -wit:
Lot 4 in tract 6968 of E1 Segundo, in the City of
E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as per raa, recorded in Dook 126 'rage 87 of '-Taos in the
office of the County Recorder of said County.
Second: That it would be for the best interest of said City
to accept the bid hereinafter specifically referred to in the sum of
4320.00 for said property.
Third: That the bid of C. t�. Kenney, dated Lvovember 2nd, 1)Lr3,
to purchase for C._AnL--�S E !LliL,, -Y 2nd ALL.A isr,iaL,h'Y, nusoand and ;life, as
joint tenants, to purchase by good and sufficient deed with policy

of tittle insurance from said city for the sum of .020.00, to be
paid at the time of delivery of such deed, be and the same is
hereby accepted, and all other bids on said property, or any part
thereof, are hereblf rejected.
Firth: That Lhe said acceptance of said bid and the sale
herein made by virtue of this acceptance thereof are so accepted
and made subject to the following conditions:
1. The terms and conditions of said ",otice r,o. 3M of Inten-
tion to Sell City of Y:1 Segundo Owned Real eroperty and Inviting Dids
or Offers Therefor ";
2. That the full purchase ?rice for said real property to
be so conveyed, as above stated, is paid by said purchaser on or
before thel7th day of January , 1944; and
3. That unless said purchase price is so psid by said
purchaser wi--_iin the time hereinabove limited, then and in that
event the said City at the option of the City Council thereof, shall
be relieved of its obli`ation to convey hereunder, and any amount
or amounts theretofore paid and deposited on said property shall
be forfeited to said City as full and liquidated damages, and
said City shall thereupon be free, without liability to said pur-
chaser, to sell said property to any other purchaser.
Sixth: That the .'Mayor of the City of c,l Segundo is hereby
authorized and instructed to execute, in the narie of said city ana
on its behalf, a quitclaim deed of said real property to said pur-
chasers, in form approved by tine City Attorney or Special City Attorney,
and the City Clerk is hereby author zec; and instructed to attest the
same and affix the coroorate seal of said City thereto, and to deliver
said deed to,--ether with policy of t tle insurance to said purchasers
upon receipt by said City Clerk for said City of said full purchase
price.
Seventh: That the bid of said purchasers, hereinabove referred
to oe placed on f -le in the office of the City Clerk of said City,
and the said bid and said "Notice iao. 3K of Intention to Sell City
of E1 Segundo Owned Real iroperty, and Inviting aids or Offers Therefor",
are hereby referred to ana by t is reference expressly incorporated
herein ana made a part hereof.

Eijhth: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage
ana adoption of tris resolution; shall cause the original of the
same to oe entered in the 000k of resolutions of said City of
El Segundo, ana shall make a minute of the passage and adoption
thereof in the records of the proceedings of the said City Council
of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is
passed and adopted.
Passed, approved and adopted, this 17th day of Aovember,
