A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL CF
THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDC, C,3LIFC3?NIA,
A`^'ARDING TO F. D. FCLEY TFE CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF GAR°AGF FROM SAID
CITY FOR A PERIOD OF THREE YEARS.
�,'HEREAS, the City Council of the City of
E1 Segundo, California, has heretofore, in the manner
provided by law, duly end regularly advertised for 'rids
for the sale of €arba�_,e collected in said city;
AND, 117HEiEAS, at the time for opening and
considering said 'yids, to —wit: the hour of 7 :15 o'clock
p. m, on Wednesday, the 18th day of AuLust, A. D., 19 ^_7,
said Council received one rid therefor, and did publicly
open, examine and declare the same in open public session;
NO', ", THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of 11 Se -undo, California, does resolve, declare Gnd deter-
mine as follows:
SECTION 1. That the ,id of F. D. Foley, of
Torrence, California, which said Council determines to be

the City Clerk shall be and he is heroby authorized and
instructed to attest the sam- and to affix the city Seal
thereto, and to cause a duplicate copy of said contract

bond for faithful performance of said contr *ct, such
bond to be approved by the 1d8.yor of said city is to
sufficiency and by the City nttorney as to form.

to the passace and adoption of this resolution; stall

make a minute of the passare and adoption thereof in the
records of the proceedinLs of the City Council of said
city, in the minutes of the meetin, at which the Lame is
passed and adopted.
