CC RESOLUTION 668RESOLUTION NO. 668 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, LTD. A CERTAIN PERMIT TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN CERTAIN POLES, ANCHORS AND STRING LINES ALONG CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF GRAND AVENUE, THE WESTERLY SIDE OF EUCALYPTUS DRIVE, AND THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF EL SEGUNDO BOULEVARD, WITHIN SAID CITY, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 662 PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED AND WHICH RELATED TO CERTAIN OF SAID INSTALLATIONS. The City Council of the City of El Segundo, California, does resolve, declare and determine as follows: SECTION 1. That the application of SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, LTD., dated June 14, 1943, for a permit to install and maintain certain poles, anchors and string lines within the City of E1 Segundo, California, to-wit: To set poles and anchors and string line on the South side of Grand Avenue, West side of Eucalyptus Drive, North side of E1 Segundo Boulevard, as per Map attached. Poles to set behind curb, as shown on said Map attached to said application, on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City, open to public inspection and hereby in- corporated herein and made a part hereof,- be, and the same is hereby ordered placed on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City for the purposes of identification and reference. SECTION 2. That the permit applied for in said application hereinabove referred to in section 1 of this resolution shall be and the same is hereby authorized and 1- granted; provided, that the work shall be prosecuted and completed to the satisfaction of the Street Superintendent of the City of E1 Segundo, and provided further that the said company shall reimburse the said City of El Segundo for the restoration of street surfaces made necessary by reason of the work contemplated to be done pursuant to said application and this permit. SECTION 3. That the said application herein- above referred to in Section 1 of this resolution, on file as aforesaid, is hereby referred to and by this reference expressly incorporated herein and made a part hereof. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall issue to the said Southern California Edison Company, Ltd. a certified copy of this resolution, and such certified copy so issued to such permittee shall be and constitute the permit herein authorized and granted. SECTION 5. That the said permit shall not become effective until the same is accepted by the said permittee. Said acceptance must be in writing and may be In the form of a letter signed by such permittee, and filed with the City Clerk, evidencing such acceptance. SECTION 6. That Resolution No. 662, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING TO 80. CALIF. EDISON 00. (SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, LTD.) A CERTAIN TEMPORARY PERMIT SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS THEREIN SET FORTH, TO SET, MAINTAIN AND USE CERTAIN POLES, ANCHOR LUES AND FACILITIES ON CERTAIN POR- TIONS OF CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS WITHIN SAID CITY, PURSUANT TO ITS APPLICATION OF MAY 13, 19439 80 TO DO. ", passed and adopted on the 2nd day of June, 1943, shall be and the same is hereby repealed. 2- SECTION 7. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause the same to be entered in the book of resolutions of said City and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted. D., 1943, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen Gerow, Hesser, Peterson, Selby and Mayor Love; NOES: Councilmen None; ABSENT: Councilmen None. 3-
