A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING
A TEMPORARY REVOCABLE PERMI'! TO 30. CALIF.
TEL. CO. TO EXCAVATE IN A CERTAIN PORTION
OF EL SEGUNDO BOULEVARD, WITHIN SAID CITY,
FOR THE PURPOSE OF INSTALLING CERTAIN
POLES, ANCHORS AND FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, So. Calif. Tel. Co. has submitted to
the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, an
application in words and figures as follows:

AND, WHEREAS, there is attached to said application
a certain drawing showing the definite locations of the re-
speotive poles, anchors and facilities involved in the
premises;
AND, 14HEREAS, the City Council has duly considered
the said application and has reeched its decision with re-
ference thereto as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
E1 Segundo, California, does hereby resolve, declare,
determine and order as follows:
SECTION 1. That the said application, together
with said attached drawing, be placed on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said City for the purposes of identifi-
cation and reference, and that said application and drawing
so on file and open to public inspection shall be and the
same are hereby referred to and by this reference expressly
Incorporated herein and made a part hereof for all further
particulars with reference to their respective contents.
SECTION 2. That subject to the conditions herein-
after set forth, permission is hereby granted to said So.
Calif. Tel. Co. to place the poles, anchors and facilities
referred to in said application and as shown upon said drawing

at the locations and in the manner as therein contemplated.
SECTION 3. That the permit herein granted is
temporary only and shall be revocable at any time by the
City Council of said City without notice, without cause
and without liability, and must be accepted by the said
permittee accordingly.
SECTION 4. That the said permit shall not become
effective until the same is accepted by the said permittee,
Said acceptance must be in writing and may be in the form
of a letter signed by such permittee, and filed with the
City Clerk, evidencing such acceptance.
SECTION 5. That the name "So. Calif. Tel. Co. ",
as used in said application and hereinabove in this re-
solution, shall be deemed to include the name "Southern
California Telephone Company ".
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause
the same to be entered in the book of resolutions of said
City and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption
thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City
Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which
the same is passed and adopted.
Passed, approved and adopted this 2nd day of
June, A. D., 1943.

I, Victor D. McCarthy, City Clerk of the City
of E1 Segundo, California, do hereby certify that the
whole number of members of the City Council of the said
City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being
Resolution No. 666, was duly passed and adopted by the
said City Council, approved and signed by the Mayor of
said City, and attested by the City Clerk of said City,
all at a regular meeting of the said Council held on the
2nd day of June, A. D., 1943, and that the same was so
passed and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Gerow, Hesser, Peterson, Selby and
Mayor Love;
NOES: Councilmen None.
ABSENT: Councilmen None.
