RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORINIA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY AND SPECIAL CITY ATTORNEY TO CLEAR
TITLE TO CITY OWNED REAL iROPLRTY THEREIN DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of El Segundo,
California has instituted and is now engaged in prosecuting a general
and comprehensive program for the rehabilitation of tax deeded proper-
ties within said City, and the restoration of such properties to a
tax paying basis, and
'77REREAS, it appears to said City Council at this time that
the instructions hereafter given with reference to the particular
parcels of property hereinafter described, are necessary in order to
properly prosecute and carry forward the said program or plan;
NOR THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of E1 Segundo, California, that the City Attorney and John F.
Bender, as Special City Attorney, be and they are hereby authorized
and instructed by this Council, on behalf of the City of E1 .Segundo,
to prepare, file and prosecute to conclusion, or otherwise, any and
all proceedings or actions before any Court, commission, body or
tribunal, and to do any and all other acts and things, and incur, on
behalf of said City, any and all reasonable and necessary expenses
and charges,vtich in their opinion are necessary, convenient or proper
in order to obtain for, and vest in, said City, merchantable title
to said respective property; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the real property hereinabove in
this resolution referred to are those certain Lots, pieces or parcels
of land located in the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, described as follows:
Lots 35, 36, 37 and 38 in Block 10, in H1 Segundo,
as per Book 18, Page 69 of Maps, Records of Los
Angeles County.
Passed, approved and adopted this 12th day of May, 1943.

the foregoing resolution, being Resolution iVo. 559 , was
passed and adopted by the said City Council, approved and signed
by the Mayor of said City, and attested by the City Clerk of said
City, all at a regular meeting of said Council held on the
day of May, 1943, and that the same was so passed and adopted
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen — Gerow, Hesser, Peterson, Selby and Mayor Love.
