CC RESOLUTION 649RESOLUTION NO. 649• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 635 (THE SALARY RESOLUTION) OF SAID COUNCIL, BY AMENDING SUBDIVISION 15 OF THE "SCHEDULE OF COMPENSATION FOR THE VARIOUS OFFICERS, DEPARTMENT HEADS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA. ", SET FORTH IN SECTION 1 OF SAID RESOLUTION NO. 635. The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, does hereby resolve, declare and determine as follows: SECTION 1. That Subdivision 15 of the "Schedule of Compensation for the Various Officers, Department Heads and Employees of the City of E1 Segundo, California ", set forth in Section 1 of Resolution No. 635 of the City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELSEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION OR PAY OF VARIOUS MUNICIPAL OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY, AND REP ALING ALL RESOLUTIONS AND ORDERS AND PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS AND ORDERS IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. ", passed and adopted on the 23rd day of December, 1942, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: "Subdivision 15. MISCELLANEOUS — ALL DEPARTMENTS: A. Janitors, first class, shall receive the sum of 4'155.00 per month each. B. Janitors, second class, shall receive the sum of 46.70 per day, for each day of service. C. Truck Drivers, first class, shall receive the sum of $165.00 per month each. 1— D. Truck Drivers, second class, shall receive the sum of 95¢ per hour, for each hour of service. E. Garbage Service Men, first class, shall receive the sum of w155.00 per month each. F. Garbage Service Men, second class, shall receive the sum of 90¢ per hour each, for each hour of service. G. Laborers of the first class, shall receive the sum of 4145.00 per month each. H. Laborers of the second class, shall receive the sum of 85¢ per hour, for each hour of service. I. Blacksmiths shall receive the sum of 41.00 per hour each, for each hour of service. J. Blade Operators shall receive the sum of 95¢ per hour each, for each hour of service. K. Bricklayers shall receive the sum of 1.00 per hour each, for each hour of service. L. Carpenters, Finish, shall receive the sum of 1.35 per hour each, for each hour of service. Lrl. Carpenters, Rough, shall receive the sum of 41.00 per hour each, for each hour of service. M. Carpenters' Helpers shall receive the sum of 85¢ per hour each, for each hour of service. N. Cement Finishers shall receive the sum of 9-1.00 per hour each, for each hour of service. 0. Concrete Mixer Operators shall receive the sum of 41.00 per hour each, for each hour of service. P. Foremen, General, shall receive the sum of ?1.25 per hour each, for each hour of service. Q. Foremen, Labor, shall receive the sum of 95¢ per hour each, for each hour of service. R. Machinists, Auto, shall receive the sum of 95¢ per hour each, for each hour of service. 0 S. Painters, Building, shall receive the sum of _,1.25 per hour each, for each hour of service. S -1. Painters, Construction, shall receive the sum of 41.00 per hour each for each hour of service. T. Pipe Fitters shall receive the sum of 95¢ per hour each, for each hour of service. U. Pipe Calkers shall receive the sum of 95¢ per hour each, for each hour of service. V. Electricians shall receive the sum of 21.50 per hour each, for each hour of service. W. Tractor Operators shall receive the sum of '41.00 per hour each, for each hour of service. X. Acetylene and Electric Welders shall receive the sum of $1.00 per hour each, for each hour of service. Y. Roller Operators shall receive the sum of 41.00 per hour each, for each hour of service. Z. Plumbers shall receive the sum of X1.50 per hour each, for each hour of service. " SECTION 2. That said Resolution No. 635 is hereby amended as hereinabove set forth. SECTION 3. That this resolution shall take effect and be in full force on and after the 25th day of February, 1943. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause the original of the same to be entered in the book of resolutions of the said City of E1 Segundo, and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted. 3- Passed, approved and adopted this 24th day of February, A. McCarthy, City Clerk of the City of E1 Segundo, California, do hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of the said City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 649 was passed and adopted by the said City Council, approved and signed by the Mayor of said City, and attested by the City Clerk of said City, all at a regular meeting of the said Council held on the 24th day of February, A.
