A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 611 OF SAID COUNCIL, ENTITLED:
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY CCUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A
TMTORARY REVOCABLE, PERMIT TO SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA EDISON CO,, LTD. TO INSTALL CERTAIN
POLES IN A CERTAIN PORTION OF EL SEGUNDO
BOULEVARD, [^TITHIN SAID CITY."
The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, Cali-
fornia, does resolve, declare and determine as follows:
SECTION 1. That Resolution No. 611 of the City
Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, entitled:
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING
A TEMPORARY REVOCABLE PERMIT TO SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA EDISON CO. LTD. TO INSTALL
CERTAIN POLES IN A CERTAIN PORTION OF
EL SEGUNDO BOULEVARD, ::TITHIN SAID CITY. ",
passed and adopted on the 10th day of June, 1942, shall be
and the same is hereby repealed.
This repeal is made in view of the fact that said
Southern California Edison Company, Ltd. has a current
franchise with said City under the provisions of which in.
stallations of the nature contemplated in said Resolution
No. 611 are to be made, and such franchise provisions should
control in the premises over the provisions of said Resolution
No. 611.
SECTION 2. That this resolution shall take effect
immediately.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause the
same to be entered in the book of resolutions of said City

and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof
in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of
said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the same
is passed and adopted. Said City Clerk shall also cause
a certified copy thereof to be forwarded to said Southern
California Edison Company. Ltd.
