EREAS, the City Council of tY_e City of E1 Segundo,
California has instituted and is now engaged in prosecutir_g a general
and comnrehensive program for the rel'abil tation of tax deeded proper-
ties within said City, and the restoration of such rroperties to a
tax paying basis, and
N ERLAS, it appears to said Council at this time that the
instructions hereafter given with reference to the particular parcels
of real property hereinafter described, are necessary in order to
properly prosecute and carry forward tPe said pro_rarr or -Ian;
NO' , i 1ERr.FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of El Segundo, California, that the City Attorney and John F.
Bender, as Special City Attorney, be and they are lereby autnorized
and instructed by tl-is Council, on behalf of the City of El Segundo,
to prepare, file and prosecute to conclusion, or ot:-erwise, any and
all proceedings or actions before any court, commission, body or
tribunal, and to do any and all other acts and thirgs, and incur, on
behalf of said City, any anc all reasonable and necessary expenses
and charges, which in their opinion are necessary, convenient or
proper in order to obtain for, and vest in, saic' City, merchantable
title to said respective property; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the real property hereinabove in
this resolution referred to are those certain lots, pieces or rarcels
of land located in the City of Ll �e,,undo, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, described as follows:
Lot 6, Block 1[, in E1 3e&undo, as per `nook 20, Pages
22 -23 of ?sans, Records of Los Angeles County.
