A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, NAMING
AS "SEPULVEDA BOULEVARD" CERTAIN PORTIONS
OF CERTAIN PUBLIC WAYS WITHIN SAID CITY.
The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo,
California, does resolve, declare and determine as follows:
SECTION 1. That those certain portions of certain
Public Ways in the City of E1 Segundo, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, situate in the East One Half of Sections
12 and 13, Township 3 South, Range 15 West, and the West One
Half of Sections 7 and 18, Township 3 South, Range 14 West,
in the Rancho Sausal Redondo, as shown on Map recorded in
Book 1, pages 507 and 508, Records of said County, described
as follows:
That certain street 30 feet in width lying east
of and adjacent to that certain 320 aore parcel of
land, labeled C. C. Hunt, as shown on Map of J. H.
Fisher's Subdivision, recorded in Book 22, page 87,
Miscellaneous Records of said County, named and/or
commonly known as Arizona Drive, bounded northerly
by the southerly line of Imperial Highway, as de-
scribed and named in Ordinance No. 166 of said City,
passed, approved and adopted on May 2, 1930, and bound-
ed southerly by the southerly line of said Section 12;
Those certain parcels of land designated as
Parcels 1 to 24, both inclusive, in Final Judgment of
Condemnation in Case No. 357580 in the Superior Court
of the State of California, in and for the County of
Los Angeles, recorded in Book 13174, page 92, Official
Records of said County;

Those portions of Mariposa Avenue, Palm Avenue,
Maple Avenue and Alley, as said Public Ways are
shown on Map of E1 Segundo, Sheet No. 5, recorded
in Book 20, pages 114 and 115 of Maps, Records of
said County, lying easterly of a line parallel with,
distant 100 feet westerly from and measured at right
angles to the easterly line of Arizona Drive, as
shown on said last mentioned map;
That portion of Grand Avenue as described in
deed of easement to said County of Los Angeles, re-
corded in Book 6017, page 93 of Deeds, Records of
said County, lying easterly of a line parallel and /or
concentric with, distant 100 feet westerly from and
measured at right angles and /or along radial line to
the easterly line of that certain parcel of land de-
signated as Parcel 23 in said Final Judgment of
Condemnation; and
That portion of E1 Segundo Boulevard as named,
designated and described in Ordinance No. 40 of said
City, passed, approved and adopted on July 100 1918,
lying between the southerly prolongation of the east-
erly line of that certain parcel of land designated
as Parcel 22 and the north easterly lines of those
certain parcels of land designated as Parcel 23 A and
Parcel 20 in said Final Judgment of Condemnation,
shall be, and the sameare hereby named, SEPULVEDA BOULEVARD,
and the same shall be hereafter named, designated and known
as "Sepulveda Boulevard ".
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause
the same to be entered in the book of resolutions of said
City and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption
thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council

of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the
same is passed and adopted. Said Clerkshall also imme-
diately after the passage and adoption of this resolution
cause a copy thereof, duly certified, to be transmitted
to the Surveyor of Los Angeles County, California.
SECTION 3. That this resolution shall take
effect immediately.
Passed, approved and adopted this 2nd day of
April, A. D., 1941.

I, Victor D. McCarthy, City Clerk of the City
of E1 Segundo, California, do hereby certify that the whole
number of members of the City Council of the said City is
five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution
No. 558 , was duly passed and adopted by the said City
Council, approved and signed by the Mayor of said City
and attested by the City Clerk of said City, all at a
regular meeting of the said Council held on the 2nd day
of April, A. D., 1941, and that the same was so passed
and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Gerow. Hesser. Love. Selby and
Mavor hinder ;
NOES: Councilmen None ;
ABSENT: Councilmen None .
