CC RESOLUTION 552RESOLUTION N0, 552 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNUIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO$ CALIFORNIA, GRANTING MRS. MYRTLE A. WEN'1ZEL A TE14POhAKi REVOCABLE PERMIT TO ESTABLISH AND CONDUCT A REST HOME AT 403 VIRGINIA STREET, WITHIN SAID CITY. The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, Cali- fornia, does resolve, declare and determine as follows: SECTIUN 1. That the application of Mrs. Myrtle A. Wentzel, dated December 3, 1940, for a permit to establish and conduct a rest home, at 403 Virginia Street in the City of E1 Segundo, California, as defined in Ordinance No. 236 of said City, be and the same is hereby ordered placed on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City for the purposes of identification and reference. SECTlov 2. That the permit applied for in said application hereinabove referred to in Section 1 of this resolution, shall be and the same is hereby authorized and granted subject to: (1) Each and all of the terms, conditions, restrictions and provisions of said Ordinance No. 236, entitled: --AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDU, CALIr•ORvIA, REGULeitNG THE ESit&BLISHMEvT .AND OPERA'T.Lov OF REST HOMES, BOARDING .KOMES, HOSPITALS, SAN1TARiUMS OR SANI- r.OHIUMS IN SAIu CITY, AND FIXING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATIUN THEREOF." , passed and adopted on the 9th day of October, A. D., 1940; (2) To the further condition that the permit and auLnority herein granved is temporary onty, and is re- vocable by the City Council at any time without cause and without liability,on ten days notice of such revooa- tion to the saia permittee; 1- I (3) That said permit and authority is personal to the permittee and may not be trans- ferred or assigned without the written consent of the City Council first had and obtained. SECTION 3. That the said application hereinabove referred to in Section 1 of this resolution, on file as aforesaid, is hereby referred to and by this reference expressly inoorporaiea herein and made a part hereof. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall issue to said Mrs. Myrtle A. Wentzel a certified copy of this resolution, and such certified copy so issued to such permittee shall be and constitute the permit herein authorized and granted. SECTION 5. That the City Council hereby respect- fully recommends to the permittee that such permittee shall have due regard to the making of such corrections as are indicated in the communication of Florence E. Moore, Inspector Hospitals and Institutions, of the County of Los Angeles Department of Health, dated December 17, 1940, relating to said premises, now on file in the office of the City Clerk, open to public inspection and hereby referred to, incorporated herein and made a part hereof. SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause the same to be entered in the book of resolutions of said City and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
