MEREA5, the City Council of the City of
E1 SeEundo, California, at its reEular meeting, held
October 16, 1940, pproved the reco- emendation of the
Los AnLeles County Regional PlarrinL Co=ission's plan
of county hi„ -hways insofar as it affects the City of
E1 Se,,undo, and
:'HEREAS, the City of El SeSundo has heretofore
made applications to the Board of Supervisors, Los Angeles
County, to purchase the State's interest in tax- deeded
property, sai,_ a,p-1ic<tions bein_ filed pursuant to pro-
visions of Sections 3897d an,- 3897.3, Political Code,
California; and
',-HEREAS, certain of the properties to be pur-
chased come vit'iin the proposed county plan of hiLhways,
and may come within subsequent amendments to said plan,
if any;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DECLARED AND
DETLRi_INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TTHE CITY CF EL SEGUNDO,
CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLO'4S, TO- '.'IT:
That the City of E1 Sefundo a6rees to dedicate
and reserve for street purposes ownership or easement of

any parcel of -)ro.:)erty, or eny n�-rt thereof which the
City of El Se -.undo purchases from the Board of Super-
visors of Los AnUeles County and the State of California
under the provisions of said Sections 3897d end 3897.3
of the Political Code, California, that come i,ithin the
proposed re-ional plan of hiLhwa-ys as heretofore ado)ted
by the Board of Supervisor= of Los An"eles County and the
City of El Segundo, or which may come within any amend-
ments to said re-ional plan of hihoiays as hereafter
edo,ted by the Board of Supervisors of Los An ,leles County
and approved by the City of E1 Se`undo.
