CC RESOLUTION 449301-1 "Q RESOLUTION NO. 449 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A TEMPORARY REVOCABLE PERMIT TO RICHFIELD OIL CORPORATION TO INSTALL CERTAIN PIPE LINES IN A PORTION OF MARYLAND STREET AND A PORTION OF FRANKLIN AVENUE 'WITHIN SAID CITY. The City Council of the City of E1 Segundo, California, does resolve, declare and determine as follows: SECTION 1. That the application of RICHFIELD OIL CORPORATION, dated the 30th day of March, 1938, for a permit to excavate, install and maintain the following pipe lines within the City of El Segundo, California, to -wit: One 10" gas pipe line in Franklin Ave. beginning at East line of Center St. 8' S. of C. 5. thereof; thence 'N'ly. para- llel to said C. L. to the C. L. of Maryland St.; ALSO one 4" gas pipe line in Maryland St. beginning at a point 8* S. of the C. L. of Franklin Ave. and 10' E. of the C. L. of Maryland St; thence N'ly in Maryland St. 10' E'ly of and parallel to C. L. thereof a distance of 346'; thence E'ly, at right angles, a distance of 10' to the E. P. L. of Maryland St., be, and the same is hereby ordered placed on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City for the purposes of identification and reference. SECTION 2. That the permit applied for in said application hereinabove referred to in Section 1 of this resolution, shall be and the same is hereby authorized and granted subject to each and all of the terms, conditions and provisions of Resolution No. 427 of said City, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CE EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISH- ING RULES AND REGULATIONS RELATING TO THE FILING ANH GRANTING OF APPLICATIONS FOR TEMPORARY PERMITS TO INSTALL, LAY, REPAIR, REMOVE OR ABANDON PIPE LINES IN THE PUBLIC STREETS AND PLACES Oil SAID CITY. ", 1- -'112 �a passed and adopted on the 17th day of November, 1937, and particularly to the terms, provisions, conditions, rules and regulations relating to LONGITUDIN&L ENCROLCEIENTS, as set forth in Subdivision B of the "Rules and Regulations" contained in Section 5 of said Resolution No. 427. SECTION 3. That the said application hereinabove referred to in Section 1 of this resolution, on file as aforesaid, and the said Resolution No. 427, which is also on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City, are hereby referred to and by this reference expressly incorporated herein and made a part hereof. SECTION 4. That the City Olerk shall issue to the said Richfield Oil Corporation, a certified copy of this resolution, and such certified copy so issued to such permittee, shall be and constitute the permit herein authorized and granted. SECTION 5. That as provided in Section 8 of said Resolution No. 427, the permit herein granted is temporary only, and shall be revocable at any time by the City Council of said City without notice, without cause and without liability, and must be accepted by the said permittee accordingly. SECTION 6. The said permit shall not become effective until the same is accepted by the said permittee. Said acceptance must be in writing and may be in the form of a letter signed by such permittee, and Piled with the City Clerk, evidencing such acceptance. SECTIM 7. that the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution; shall cause the same to be entered in the book of resolutions of said City and shall make a minute of the passage ,nd adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting 2- at which the same is passed and adopted.
